    10 Things about Twitter

    1. People who only follow you if you follow them are clearly not interested in your content.
    2. Follow only people you like. Others will judge you by your list, following the wrong people can hurt you (and your brand)
    3. Don´t RT everything you see - RT quality content
    4. Add value with your tweets. Everything can be of vaule, know who you want to reach
    5. Don´t push with tweets, pull with tweets. Meaning: Don´t tweet stuff like "i sell the best beef in town" rather tweet a interesting fact about beef
    6. Don´t start a tweet with "new on my blog/website/page/stream". Rather end it with #myblog or #mydomain.com or just post a short text (doesn´t have to be the title) and the link
    7. Before you start using a hashtag for a discussion or event check if it is already in use (twitter search will show)
    8. Use a nice avatar. More people will follow you and most users don´t use Twitter.com, so they will never see your nice Twitter page
    9. Your micro-bio is your business card. If people want to know what @yourname is about, they will look there.
    10. Perception is reality - people don´t know you, they only know your tweets, and unlike facebook everybody can read them

    oh here is one more:

    11. Don´t go to 140. If others want to RT you, they have to cut your Tweet. At least let space for "RT @yourname "

What we can learn from Monkeys

Actually i just wanted to show a great photo. But, there is a story too. Monkeys have a lot to teach to Entrepreneurs:

    Monkeys need to stay slim:
You can´t jump from tree to tree, be a flexible artist and reach the banana first if you are too fat. Same for Entrepreneurs. Your Business has to stay slim and focused. Don´t try to fill up your Business with junk you don´t need. Less is much more in Business terms. Try to fill a gap, be a specialist.

Monkeys stay in a group (most do):
As a Entrepreneur it is vital for you to be different from other Entrepreneurs. But at the same time partners are very important. Don´t try to be the one and only. Team up with others and share the marked. That way, you are stronger, even more flexible and with the help of the group you are more alert to changes on the market.

    Monkeys are quick deciders:
If you climb rocks and jump trees, you need to know what´s the next step. But don´t overanalyze. Structure your decision making and make lists of vital questions for recurring tasks. It saves you a lot of time and your customers a lot of money. To be a quick decider is one of the most vital features in today's fast market.

    Monkey stay alert and care:
I know a lot of young Entrepreneur who don´t do any kind of customer tracking. Make use of tools like CRM, Twitter and Feed Readers to know your market and know your customers. Some apps even allow you to see leads near by, track every Business mail and call with a customer and even note little details like the hobbies and tastes of your customers. That way you can start your next call with "Hi Sandy, did you get a chance to try your new snowboard?" - It shows that you care and see your customers as social contacts, not just as the next deal. (as a nice side effect you learn the real needs of your customers and can craft your Business accordingly)

There are a lot more things to learn from monkeys, but since i have a lot more great monkey photos i will put them in the next posts ;-)

Dynamic human interface data allocation system - Teil 3

Dynamic human interface data allocation system - Teil 2

    Beitrag von: Olivio Sarikas
Warum müssen alle Daten immer an alle gehen?
